Charles James McClusky Funeral Service

Charles James ‘Jimmy’ McClusky (formerly Larter), a resident of Dereham, brought up in Lowestoft, passed away suddenly on 25th September 2024. He was a talented chef, most recently at Cavell Court care home in Norwich. Husband to Josie, Father to Tally and Daniel, son of Jeanette and brother to Mark, Stuart, Julie and Steven. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by friends and family. Please join us for a memorial service to celebrate and remember the life of Charles James. This will be held on 23rd October 2024 at 1pm at Green Acres Colney Park, Watton Road, Norwich, Norfolk, NR4 7TY. The service will be followed by a wake at the King’s Head pub, Harts Lane, Bawburgh, Norwich, NR9 3LS - 5 minutes drive. There will be a buffet and tea and coffee provided, as well as a bar should you wish to buy other drinks. (There will be an unattended cremation the following day.) Please find directions to Colney Park here https://www.greenacresgroup.co.uk/parks/colney-park/ Please dress how you feel comfortable but we would like to encourage you to wear something bright or colourful if you wish, as Charles was always bright and full of life and loved colour; particularly yellow, orange, green and blue. Please bring your fondest memories or photographs should you wish to share with family and friends. An indication of whether you might attend the wake would be useful for me, to estimate numbers, but not essential.

Should you prefer to send flowers please arrange to have them delivered to Jordan Young Funeral Home, 11 Nelson Place, Dereham, NR19 1EA by 9am on 23rd October.
